itunes have made some changes to block unlocking of iphones on 06th august 2010, and will lockdown the iphone to use only original sim even if jailbroken and unlocked via jailbreakme and ultrasn0w.
If you dont have one already get an activation sim from iPhone Activation Sim Card
remember, the activation sim is only to activate and get you past the 'slide for emergency' and give 'slide to unlock'
